The Confederation of Social Entrepreneurs (CoSE) works with social enterprises to support their growth and boost their capacity to generate income by delivering contracts.
We also work with commissioners and procurement professionals to increase awareness in the innovation available through social enterprises. We provide the role of an independent intermediary - bringing together public sector buyers and suppliers for local economic benefit.
CoSE was established by Riverside Housing, the Plus Dane Group and South Sefton Development Trust in 2007 and has worked with key social enterprise agencies on Merseyside to engage public sector procurement officers on issues of relevance to the sector.
CoSE, working with RLK Partnerships Limited, is currently delivering a Procurement Facilitation Service on behalf of Liverpool City Council for Liverpool based SMEs.
